this body is not mine

I was meant for more

I was so sure

want to sleep

want to dream

this heart was lost so long ago

it needs repair

there’s nothing left to give

yet I keep giving

there’s nothing left to take

but they keep taking

is it too much

just to be loved

cherished

wanted
