A Roundeau Poem |
It's winter time around these parts The cold outside is not in our hearts We have hot cocoa on the burner We flip hotcakes with the turner Each of us will eat our fill Then take our own turn at the grill Preparing a cake for each hungry learner It's wintertime Then when each has been satisfied We begin to venture to the cold outside Where snowball fights are then begun Watch and see each child run We cheer each other no anger to hide It's wintertime. |
