SEED OF MY SEED

Trying to find the words to say how I feel
How I feel every time I see you
Looking at you I see my mother
Your mother and me, Paw Paw

When I see you, reflections take me back
Back to when I was a Lil boy growing up
Always wanting to have children
Praying that one day God would bless me

When I hold you it brings back those memories
And I can see this lil boy has come full circle
And I can't help but to smile as I recollect on
You the seed of my seed

When I kiss you I reminisce about
When I used to kiss your mother
It seems like yesterday
That I watched my seed take her 1st breath

And now I got to watch the seed of my seed
Take yours and for that I am truly blessed

Watching you with your Daddy takes me back
To those days with your mom
When I look at you I fall in love
Over & over again every time I see you

Seems surreal that you exist through my seed
I know exactly how your Great Grandma
Felt when your mother was born

My seed has created her own seed
You are forever a piece of me
I love you, the seed of my seed
