4 line poem

I'm looking for a little feedback. The poem is a little cheesy but my intent is to attach the short poem to angels I make and will sell/give away.

You nurtured a little angel, hoping to help it shine.
But God saw fit to take the angel before you thought it was time.
Take comfort in the care you gave, knowing you did your best.
And keep that love inside your heart, for you both were truly blessed.
