| Descended from Glory’s praise to confront the world’s malaise he erred not at all stood perfect before the law though his heart held no wrong twas his fate to suffer long each deed bestowed his love born of his Father above a spirit holy and pure but hatred he would endure guiltless of any shame yet for sin shouldered the blame but all he ask of us that our souls with him we trust by his blood shed upon the cross which spares us from of the lost yes Jesus paid the cost for all time to be the boss |
