I See You

Through many sleepless nights
I would close my eyes to remember.
Thinking of fond memories past,
I would see you.

Now and then you still wander through,
leaving your footprints in my thoughts.
I feel the warm and loving embrace
as if you had never been gone.

Sometimes even now when I can’t rest,
my mind drifts back to those sweet days.
Though you rest in heaven’s embrace,
I still see…you.
