A Poem

Just a piece of writing works better if you read aloud, slowly.

Scared of letting anyone in, for fear they will betray her.
She is scared.
She feels threatened.
She has been for 4 years, yet she still has hope,
just a near thread of it still clinging on in hope of survival.
She isn't afraid to die,
it's just nows not the right time.
