My feelings on anxiety

Anxiety

When I least expect the intrusion,
Overwhelming thoughts take over my head.
My physical body feels the effects like a war battle.
Frozen with fear and alone I have no where to turn.
I sit with tornadoes in my stomach wanting it to stop.
After waiting what seems like hours have passed,
The chaos finally ends—for the time being.
