Pup in a cup

Written for contest - write a poem about the picture shown (a cute puppy in a cup)

An Easter egg with red paint spots,
with me inside, but with no top.
You see my face, you see my paws.
I can't escape, it has no doors.

I'm not even six inches tall,
so can't climb out in case I fall.
I don't want to stay here no more,
It looks more fun there on the floor.

I need a wee! But that may pass.
I want to do it on the grass.
Or, maybe, do it on the fence?
Not just 1p, I need 10 pence!!!!
