You once thought I was playing a game
Now you know I am for real
Now our ends come out the same
Soon a ring will finish the deal.

I aim to make you my wife
You know I am as serious as I can be
I want you the rest of my life
You bring out the best in me.

We will face life side by side
I will always be your man
You will be my mate and bride
For you I do all I can.

You are the one I want and need
In you my soul is freed.
