Forever is the time in between heart beats, in between breaths, in between the steps.

The stars shone brighter last night,
The moon was warmer in the sky.
You were closer.
The stroll shorter.
The town silent.
The people distant.
Time slower.

The wind was fierce,
Blew dust in our faces.
The breeze sharp!
But the talk...
It was peaceful
It was calm.
I felt safe.

As I walked besides you,
There is nothing that mattered more that the moment in between the next step.
It froze time.
It held an eternity.
The moment,
In between breaths- Was an abundance of life
It was infinity - in a moment.
