A poem about family. |
| Family In our tallest moments We listen with full hearts And laugh out loud At life’s misgivings at remembered stories Where as children we entertained Through fearfulness or foolishness And in our less wholesome moments Thick blood and hot heads and hearts That beat with riddled emotions So loud louder than the car We tangle love with heated words Spurring sparring hardened hearts That try to find a path of least resistance And meet a wall Built up stone by stone layers Heavy with history |
