A poem written about a rook stalking a person during night in winter. |
| Above the ruins stalks, A feathered creature, Dark, silken and silvered And black as the depths of sea. Croaking, rasping, and barking. Taunting me. Fooling me. Stalking me with silver eyes Through bleak winter night, With nothing but a thought, And a thought alone, as sharp as talon So, I say now, the chase is on. |
