On those who seek to change things |
| Through unclean eyes they see; In seeing, make the world be. They seek to change it all, Saying they have a call: To fix it, set it right -- Malleable, all in sight. But could they let us know, How far they hope to go? Do we know us so well That we can always tell The consequence of deed, Where thought or act may lead? Have we such knowledge of Human nature that we scoff At old ways and things, Think of us as kings And humanity a board On which our wins are scored? |
