Hallowe'en doggerel for Writer's Cramp

BOO!

To my door come little creatures,
Fairies, witches, spooks and such
Scary masks obscure their features
Though I am not frightened much.

Past my door go Superheros
Panda, ninja, vampire bat
Jolly fat man stuffed with pillows
A unicorn and one black cat.

By my door a Jack-O-Lantern
Shines to light the creatures’ way
His candle casts a flick’ring pattern
That defines this special day.

In my doorway stands a demon
Scariest thing you’ve ever seen
Handing candies to the children
At my door on Halloween.
