One of the bad ones

I'll tell you about a sad story,
It's true and not that gory,
Promise me this,
That you won't laugh in their faces.
If you do,
I'm better than you.

Look in their eyes,
In deep.

There's a surprise,
Not all surprises are good.

Where their souls don't dare to sleep,
Into your thoughts they will creep.

There was once a baby girl,
Her parents went through toil,
And stayed so loyal,
She took a turn for the worst,
And from then on was in a prison,
With a thirst,
To break out and be set free.

One day, she got a letter,
And in the letter there was a key,
So she got out of the prison in her heart,
Ever since she's been free.

The young girl was my friend,
Thank you for putting the pain at an end.

See the fear in their eyes.

See the fear in their eyes.

Do you have someone's key,
Can you set someone free?
