Captain America Discovers America

A corrected historical account on the discovery of America.

         Unbeknownst to some, the discovery of America is to be credited not to Christopher Columbus but to that master of seafaring, Captain America. Before the Captain discovered this new land (soon to bear his namesake), he had to request proper funding from his king, Nick Fury. Fury looked at the Captain in such a way as to make any other man fall into a fit of nerves. But the Captain stood his ground and stared with the same spirit back into Fury's single eye. Realizing the bravery and honor of the Cap, Fury provided him with the means of crossing the Atlantic, as well as the aid of his knights, also known as the King's Avengers.
