a short story with verse

all for once
you pick me up
the words just scatter
they build up pace
you move me backward
"its just us"
laughter, love, its always like everyones busy
music starts your name, music makes us one
"you still there?"
our heartbeats cant lead us home, tell us everything, wait for "one"
i make sense afterall
"its just us now, and every once in awhile..."
you speed it up, fast
i start to look at you slow
the music plays,
what's your favorite color minus one
I smile
its dark outside
there's a flat tire
what would you say?
