From a real bad place to finding hope.

Light in the dark
A girl walks down her road alone
She stumbles, falls, breaks every bone
Dragging fingers through the dirt
She crawls and tries to fight the hurt
The whistling warning of the trees
The shards of glass beneath her knees
The darkness starts to swallow hope
And soon the girl just cannot cope
Collapsing in a tired heap
She wishes for an endless sleep
But just as she sought what she'd planned
She noticed - there's an outstretched hand
A hand that was of different shades
Not what she knew of black and grey
But yellow, orange, blue and green
Colours of which she'd never seen
With little strength that she could find
She reached out - fingers intertwined
And suddenly the colours spread
Her veins no longer pumping red
But brilliant rainbow rivers through
Her bones were bound by shades of blue
Glass wounds forgotten in the green
And violet washed her body clean
And so the girl arose again
Kaleidoscopes inside her brain
Now knowing she would win this fight
'Cause rainbow sheep outshine the night
