world decides to move on to the next gossip. --
When Ashton
Midas Knight chose the European Express, she was awfully sure she

food.
><><><><><>< CHAPTER 1:
Viola strolls
around with every bit of confidence she exuded--which ran deeper in
her than the blood in her veins.
Coming
to an abrupt stop because of the tiny compartment, Viola instantly
snaps her head in the direction of her brother's figure, seething
with annoyance towards him--for he was the culprit behind this
unplanned adventure. "Pray, tell me again, how did we end up here?" Viola questions impatiently in a demanding tone. She still could not wrap her head around her brother's unfiltered behaviours. Vance grins with not a hint of regret. "I used words that befitted dearest Darien when the news-time journalist asked me for my opinion." "And you couldn't have done so without insulting him publicly?" Viola interrupts, her every word coming out slow--the Reigns family way of stressing displeasure. Viola's intent behind doing so was in the hope that her sternness would pierce into Vance's head the way a pin would pierce her fingers. Unfortunate for her, though, her brother was thick-headed, for he responded with a simple "no" and turned back to the windows, admiring the world at its finest in broad daylight. Instantly, a single desire flickers in Viola's mind--a desire that pretty much involved cracking open her brother's skull. Searching the compartment, Viola finds an object to perform her task, only to find Vivianna's teddy, Zipper. Definitely not the choice of weapon, but Viola snatches it from an asleep Vivianna anyway, startling Vela in the process as she hits Vance with the teddy--a perfect aim, indeed--but as always, Vance catches the teddy with absolute ease as he looks up at Viola with his boyish, mischievous smile, drawing attention to his dimples. Viola lets out a "eueueghshshshgfh" before sinking into one of the seats as she sends a silent prayer to the universe--for something, literally anything, to change her dratted brother.
+ + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + +
Two hours on par with the train's departure from the station had already kindled Viola with immense frustration. She's currently seated in the dining cabin with her zoo--also known as her siblings. Vivianna to her right, Vela to her left, and Vance right opposite her. Viola nibbled on olive bread with slow deliberation--not because she was relishing every bite, but rather because it was a good excuse to avoid engaging in nonsensical talk with her siblings--as her mind drifted in the direction of a certain senior who'd captured her heart, until her brother in a literal sense jailed her in a damned train. Sending curses to Vance, Viola dismisses herself from the what-ifs and could-have-beens as she shifts her interest towards her siblings. Right now, the lot of her zoo was all busy eating--except Vance, whose eyes were trained on something. Following Vance's gaze, Viola finds none other than a lady. So it's not a something, but rather a someone.
+ + + + + + + + Vance sucked in another breath as he eyed whoever the heck the lady in front of him was, striding in a perfect pattern to a secluded seat across the dining cabin, with a German Shepherd following her lead. For the life of him, Vance knew not why a sudden thumping had taken over him when his eyes had found said lady. She wasn't something out of the ordinary--she had luscious black curly hair, jet-black eyes, a complementing tanned skin tone, defined eyebrows, and an almost dwarf height--or perhaps he was just too tall. So, in an all-in-all assessment, she would be concluded as an average lady, with average looks--but on God, Vance could swear there was something more to her, and that interested him more than he would like to admit. Sighing, Vance looks downward--resisting the urge to stare again, which would certainly make him look like a creep.
