The sounds, colors, and lights that make a persona degrade with time.

In the mind, there is a babel
I can’t quite put on it a label
There are sounds galore
Like various animals’ roar

I think with my heart
Feeling with the mind is an art
Which I have learnt
And in my cells, I have burnt

Of memories and nightmares
Are built my airs
From unpredictability
I pluck respectability

Life’s colors are many
On them reigns a season rainy
I see with no sight
Life’s colors once so bright

Subdued are the lights
Dimmed after myriad fights
Or maybe the lights did not dim
Just got blurred by a lifetime of grim
