The Armed Forces: A Wondrous Drive

A Memorial Day poem - a tribute to our heroes who gave their lives for our freedom.

On standby for the common good
Of all humanity,
Advisements for the proclamation
Of American morals -
That set of laws, privileges and principles
Two and a half centuries old…

The U.S. military proudly mirrors
The depth and wonder
Of the Earth’s prevailing notions.
An incredible fighting force
Establishing peace through deterrence
And an unbelievable capacity to battle
For the world’s manageable hopes;
Serving a nation of triumphs and ethics
To strategically display America’s voice.
One’s universal privileges and rights
Coming through the Decency
And Almighty Hands of God,
In prodigious valor,
Through these revered souls’ commitment
To honor and defend the Earth’s excellent core
Of citizens;
Believers in their own exquisite land’s
Beauty.

On this Memorial Day 2025,
Our focus shifts towards the backdrop
Of the sacred lifetimes
And soulful ascensions
Of the most Christ-fearing loves…
The resolute, single-minded constituency
Of this once-again proud land -
Those honored veterans
Who gave their lives
For freedom…
Past, present, and future warriors
Of every generation
Coming forth as a superior fighting unit
To the unerring defense
Of America’s headline, austere hopes;
A potent message of physical, spiritual,
And mental prowess
Tied to the exorbitant heights
Of The Lord, Our Savior -
Adorning the uniform
Of exceptional importance and pride,
Those catapulting winds
Of perpetual entanglement
In the days ahead 
Extending the feathers in the caps
Of these distinguished officers,
Air and ground troops,
And fabulous generals,
In the rambunctious manner
Of foreign, fluid struggles…
