Nightmare for Seafood Lovers

We are in dire straights with seafood.

I love to eat seafood. I also love to read about it.
I see serious troubles in the world of seafood.
During a three year period of time Alaska lost 10 billion crabs due to global warming.
Crabs are not even my favorite seafood. I prefer clams or mussels but I'm totally shocked global warming could have such an effect on crabs.
I am also outraged by the skyrocketing cost of bluefin tuna. A few years ago a single bluefin tuna was auctioned off for three million dollars.
If bluefin tuna command such outragous prices the ocean will run out and we will be deprived of an outstanding creature.
I encourage everybody to read the book Red Gold The Managed Extinction of Giant Bluefin Tuna.
Last but not least. I love tiger prawns. However according to the book Let Them Eat Shrimp, shrimp farming especially tiger shrimp farming is devastating wetlands.
This is making other kinds of aquculture impossible. This means people who made their living from crabbing and fishing are now starving.
If we have any desire to keep sushi bars stocked with real gems as opposed to soy imitations we have to take control of the seafood industry.
