Loneliness

In the silent hush of endless night,
Where shadows stretch and swallow light,
A whisper of solitude creeps near,
A ghostly echo I hold dear.

The vastness wraps its cold embrace,
A void that time cannot erase,
Within the dark, my fears take flight,
A lonely star in endless night.

No voice, no hand, no guiding gleam,
Just hollow echoes of a dream—
A hollow ache, a silent cry,
A deep abyss where hopes can die.

Yet in this darkness, faint and deep,
A fragile ember dares to keep,
A flicker of some distant grace,
A whisper that I still can face.

For even in the blackest gloom,
A spark can break the heavy doom,
And though the fear of loneliness
Can drown the soul in vast darkness—
Hope’s fragile light may still ignite,
A dawn beyond the endless night.
