Time Travels

A brief blurb of a story I am thinking about

Anders states, "You are late yet again Storm. You are really getting on my nerves."

Storm responds, "I stopped down at the Biological Labs to get the latest information."

Anders is getting angrier as time goes on, "I didn't ask you to do that you idiot. I have direct contact with the chief of the federal police."

Storm responds, "I thought I was helping but I guess I was wrong."

Anders says, "You are not paid to do as you please Storm. I am the President of United North, this great country, and I don't need a little puke like you to constantly second guess me."

Storm starts to change directions of the conversation, "So what the hell is so urgent? Why did you call me at two o'clock this morning to get me to come to the office?"

Anders glares at Storm, "The others should be here within the hour."

Storm asks, "The others?"

Anders says, "The federal council. The Biological Labs was attacked. That was no accident that fifty people were murdered and twenty-five more were seriously wounded."

Storm wonders, "Was it Hell's Gate that committed this attack?"

Anders says, "I received an electronic call letting me know that this is not the end of this. There are going to be more attacks if I don't cooperate with their demands."

Storm is baffled, "What are their demands Anders?"

Anders says, "I will explain when the federal council gets here but I need you to collect Alexis West from the National Portal building at exactly nine this morning."

Storm studies Anders, "Why? You don't need an Elite Time Jumper for this. You need more police activity."
