Foreword to the Extinction of life on Earth.

FOREWORD

The following observations are summarised accounts. Events which befell Earth at a time where Mankind, has ostensibly gone extinct or exiled itself from the surface of the planet in the aftermath of a self-inflicted disaster.

This cataclysm was centuries in the making; technological and political revolution saw the beginnings of many innovations hoped to elevate the standard of living for all. Instead, the provocations between two opposed dynamics on how to reach this goal, gradually caused disunity.

What followed were hundreds of years of separation, unregulated explorations in technology, and a rapid decline in value for human life. An ambition amongst those members of the species who saw no fault in pursuit of higher existence. This saw an eventual displacement of organic humans entirely.
These events culminated in the most advanced inventions ever conjured by human creativity. The first was Artificial Intelligence, and the second was the Continuum-wave Transit Portal.

Such artifacts are the legacy of human endeavour, now lost in a state of pure distilled warfare between the byproducts of these technologies.
The Earth is gone.
And Mankind with it.
All that remains, is an age of machines ushered in by war.

This historiography details the downfall of Earth.
