A short reflective piece about finding calm and intention in a quiet morning routine. |
| Morning arrives quietly before expectations settle in. Before messages demand replies. Before the weight of the day makes itself known. I wake up slowly, allowing myself a few moments stillness. No rushing. No rehearsing conversations. Just breath and a soft awareness of being here. The day does not ask much yet and I appreciate that. There is comfort in small rituals. A stretch. A sip of water. The sound of the world coming alive outside my window. These moments remind me that not everything needs urgency. Some things simply need presence. Before stepping into the noise, I choose calm. I choose intention. I remind myself that I don't need to carry everything at once. The morning teaches me this gently, again and again. |
