Putting pen to paper

International Women's Day
a day that was designed to include me
& all I feel is rejection.

charged crystals & stones
burning candles searching for protection.

my heart & soul feel heavy
thinking I'd found a deeper connection.

a fish swimming in circles
looking to find it's reflection.
