A poem of disused words

Workaday is fine if you like things the same,
But feeling kinda grumpish would be a shame.
An ‘aha!’ moment through an excogigate,
An apricity in March is a winter’s trait.

A high-opinioned short guy is a cockalorum,
A wantwit, dullard or dolt is someone dumb.
A snoutfair is pretty and ‘a bit of alright’,
A jollux may find that their clothes feel tight.

Reality TV is beef-witted at best,
And a sluberdegullion likes a good rest.
A sly hugger-mugger can be discreet,
And a person a-groaking just wants to eat.

You might feel crapulous if you’ve eaten too much,
Trillibubs, gorbelly or other some such.
Drink too much? You’re a tosspot or sot,
And if you’re British you’ll be that a lot.
