A WORD WITH GOD

Remember that prayers are always answered - sometimes the answer is no.

A word with God Is overdue
When things go wrong, He carries you.
I feel the need, and He is there,
Silently listening to my prayer.

Many times I've prayed that I'd not be alone -
He answered: "Child, come home".
I prayed for love, to me it came
But it didn't stay, life's not the same.

I prayed for strength to live on
When all my dreams of love had gone.
He helped me up and with sad eyes
Told me I had not been wise.

The morning light comes -once more warm and bright
I kneel before him to make things right.
Knowing not what to say, "Forgive me" I cried,
"There's so much love from you inside" -

Then I thanked Him for His love
And thanked Him for the stars above.
I thanked Him that I can walk,
I thanked Him that I can talk.

I thanked Him for another chance
To lovingly remember the dance.
I am so blessed In every way,
I'll have a word with God today.
