Resting upon my shoulder friend
Showing concern in a special way
Being there for me night and day

Offering help in my times of sorrow
You'll be there today and tomorrow
To know I have someone like you
To confide in and tell troubles too

Give suggestions and never a must
You offer me your advice and trust
I may go places, and pursue things
My trust in you will always remain

You have taken away all my fears
You will lend me some help my dear
You been my friend a long time now
If I loose you I will manage somehow

You have built up my self confidence
taught me to have more self respect
For all this you have done my friend
I will never forget you until the end
