Outlawpoet weekly contest entry


Hopeless Rest

I feel hopeless,
rest will not come
at the right time,
in the evening.

I lie waiting
with the TV on,
the book in hand:
Nothing works.

Sleep will not come
to my weary body.
I get up,
go to the computer.

I hope this works,
the hope is the games,
will put me in a relaxed state,
so I can get some rest.
