 Welcome To the Urban Legends and Horror Tales Contest  Sig generously donated by pendragon  It all started with a trip to New Orleans. A horror walking tour led by a vampire amused me to no end. I was soon to find the stories behind the many haunts, ghosts, and supernatural being's inhabiting the French Quarter alone. I was so facinated with all this information that quickly upon returning home, I was soon to find that right here the roots of many legends and horror tales had woven their own webs of interest over the past few century's. Now is your chance to retell or create your own legend or horror tale. It can be one from your own area, and retold to create even more horror, or make your own up and tell it anyway you like. Scare us beyond a scream. Thrill us beyond words. The choice is yours, as I await a most welcome nightmare.Is there a local ghost or creature of the night in your neck of the woods, just waiting to come out? RULES  Must be a short story. No poetry/prose.No entries over an R rating please.No word limit.Two entrys per person allowed.Can be an old or new item.All entrys must be linked with a bitem link to the forum.Any entry's submitted without upgraded memberships can post directly in the forum. Contest is open to ALL entrys. Please put the rating of your story after the entry submission.Younger writers and those with G, PG, and PG-13 entrys are encouraged to enter.Please use the spell check on your entry's.Any questions, please email me or post in the forum as an O/T item.
