Lost

Falling for someone yet fighting it.

I see it so clearly now,
How could I have missed it before?
Presenting itself before me,
Practically knocking down my door.

A lifetime I have wasted,
Constructing those iron walls,
Barely months to crumble,
Nearly no time at all.

A whisper to my soul again,
An image in my mind,
A guesture of the heart it seems,
A kiss..........so lost in time.

Those eyes I seem to pull back from,
Paralyzing me.
Overtaken by the warming sun,
is this meant to be?
Wanting, Needing, Pleading....
GIVE IN!!!
Yet fearing the pain,
A heart can never mend.

I'm fighting it,
I know I am,
And I know, it's merely because I can.
