A man tries to explain about the "voices" that persuade him.

Voices

I have to give credit to those pesky little voices. They can be little devils one minute and down right cunning the next.
By myself I wouldn’t know the first thing about killing someone, let alone being able to hide the bodies. But those voices sure are smart, knowing exactly where to stick a knife for the least amount of bloodletting and maximum effect on the victim. They say a clean, quiet, kill is best, the three K’s.
Then comes the disposal, quick, clean... What’s that? No! I don’t know what they look like. They’re VOICES not apparitions! But I do have an idea about what they might look like. Here, now, if you’ll put that crayon in my mouth I can try to draw them. I would do it myself but for some reason they keep me in this straight jacket.
