Only for another fashion to take its place
A lifestyle that's never real, never solid
No inner peace or foundation to be found

Based on man-made clothes that deteriorate
A lifestyle with forever a revolving door
A master charge card that never gets paid

My life as a Shopping Trip needs to stop
Searching now for more than shirts or sweaters
I don't mind the basement bargain sales

A journey to find the peace that is missing
A lifestyle that doesn't need a credit card
Or fashions dictated by persons from afar
Only a real foundation for my life
