dark....yet beautiful

sweet agony
exquisite pain
desired death
you tell me it's evil,
yet it's all i have

i wish i could escape it
i want to be free
you talk of...happiness
but what is that?

nothing more than an evanescent dream
a distant destination
out of reach
so far out of sight
i cannot even begin the journey
