| Like a bitter poison without a cure, Like a complex puzzle without solution, A blanket of looks and unsaid words, Woven with uneasiness and rounded off with spite, Mind games and lies have become the norm, And I’m finding it so hard to cope. All the empty words have lost their purpose And we’re drowning in silence now, The blank expressions and motionless lips Shout a story that words just can’t tell There’s pain in this world we’re at odds with But I wouldn't be anywhere else. |
