this poem is about the changing seasons and the birth of a new year |
Rebirth By E C Wesch Oh, mother of the seasons what will you wear today, is it a bouquet of spring time flowers in the month of May? Or will it be a summer shift in dappled shades of green, To keep you cool in August while you paint your landscape scene? Or will you dance at a Harvest Ball wearing oranges, and yellow? I hope your partner's dancing helps to keep October mellow. As December rolls upon us will your jewelry glisten brightly? Like confetti falling from the sky your veil, it floats, so lightly. For the wedding of the seasons you're dressed in purest white. The rebirth of another year, starts with you...tonight. |
