a Cinquain written about summer storms |
| "Stormy Summer Nights" (in the form of The Cinquain) Crashing- Lightning, thunder Swells the night sky with heat. Restless, sleepless, those summer nights Swelter. Pouring, Rain saturates, Permeating through dry earth. Once parched, arid, now swollen with Moisture. Slowly, The rain subsides, Withdraws into the night. A freshness remains, while the Earth Slumbers. |
