Missing My Kami

this poem is about my niece who had passed on due to sids

It has been so very long
since I've been able to see,
that little bundle of joy
my first, dearest niece Kami.

It was just four years ago,
when you arrived on this earth.
You were so tiny and frail,
from the moment of your birth.

Auntie only held you once,
when you were just one day old.
Then it happened one morning,
your tiny body went cold.

The angels of Heaven came,
to bring you into God's love.
To embrace you with their wings,
and bring you up above.

The last moment I saw you
was in your coffin of white.
And I'll forever miss you,
my little angel of light.
