Sometime Ago

My first poem ever written, a few years ago.

Sometime ago.
That's when we were one.
When you cared, when I was your sun.
Sometime ago, long ago.
Fifteen years full of memories,
How you seemed to care.
Our love and laughter filled the air.
Can we go back there?
Years now passing by,
those feeling must be passing too.
As everyday passes, one life becomes two.
Can time take us back through?
Always trying to please,
So many mistakes I guess I've made.
All those errors I would trade
If it could take us away
To that time
When we were one.
When you cared, when I was your sun.
