Six times my server dumped me
The seventh I struck gold
My email password failed me
Now Yahoo Chat's on hold

Reboot,and straight through Hades
No other man's so brave
This damned computer's sending me
To a very early grave

New messages "Awaiting"
"Read Mail" I then depress
The power it deserted me
And black went all the rest

Again my server’s serving
As hope swells in my breast
My Email password worked this time
The pain has left my chest

What's this? Just more Junk Mail
Can I believe my eyes
My friends have all deserted me
Gone on to live their lives

Once past these minor trifles
And back again "Online"
Sign in to my "Match.com"
I'll have to buy more time

My monitor, it shimmered bright
Flashed, blinked, and faded out
Frustration overwhelmed me
Oh Damn! I shouted out!

Now, the sun it is arising
I've not been yet to bed.
Fatigue has overcome me
Now I'm off to rest my head!
