It's A Life

Contest poetry. Had to have an animal in the poem.

"Come here.
Get away.
Keep out of the trash!"

"Get up.
Sit down.
Quit that barking now!"

"Off the couch.
On the paper.
Don't bring that in here!"

"Good boy.
Bad dog.
Spit that out right now!"

It's a dog's life,
But I don't really care,
As long as they rub my belly.
