In Need

I wrote this 2 years ago after a hard fall to my knees and a rude awakening from reality.

I feel so terrible,
I've sinned in Your sight.
You were there all along,
But I wasn't willing to fight.
When I cried out to You,
In all my agony and pain,
You brought me Your love
That was still the same.
Then I felt Your arms surround me,
That, I didn't expect.
Your love unfailing
Still gave me rest.
I said, "But, Lord, I thought You would leave."
You answered, "Why my child? You are in need."
