Composition 1/30

This poem was a short one that I wrote, and it is great for putting in a blog, etc.

My pen was wet,
The page was dry,
So I resolved
that I would try
to write a poem
that would be good,
and hope it would
be understood.
I thought and thunk,
I thunk and thought.
What came to mind
was not a lot.
So I wrote what I could,
I kept rhyming away,
but I realized that I
could not go on this way
so I stopped.
