Another bad entry for the "Dark and Stormy Night" contest

She continued to file her catlike nails lazily as her steel blue eyes took him in still considering whether to take this long fellow’s case; she took in his crisp, long black hair, sinewy arms, she liked ‘em tall and hot and he was both but his story didn’t ring true, “Look, Smithy, I don’t care what your wad’s worth, I want the whole story,” her voice ringing like a hammer on an anvil.
