Didn’t get that promotion? So what!
Take a good look at what you you’ve got.
Family, friends, a future too,
Those are just to name a few.

No fortune you say? That’s okay,
Maybe you’ll get it another day.
For now, be thankful to the Lord,
That you aren’t sleeping on cardboard.


Background:
I came up with this as I was driving to a car show. It just raced through my head and I had to write it down as I was driving (bad me) and here it is ... I want to add to it but I'm not sure in what direction I want to go next. Maybe there will be some kind of divine intervention??
