All things happen for a reason

I sit here thinking thoughts out loud
But all I think of is you.
I try to write about the moon and the stars
But all I think of is you.

So as you fill my head with thoughts
That I can't push aside,
I write, my pen pressed upon this page,
The feelings that I cannot hide.

I miss you when you're not around
I always want you by my side
To be with me, to comfort me
I can't be without you- I've tried.

I tried to act like you didn't matter
I pretended that I didn't care.
But all I got was suffering
To be without you I can't bear.

Even when we're not touching
I love to have you near me.
Your eyes, your smile, your very presence
Brings a peace to me.

So I want you to know-no matter what-
I'll always care for you
You can count on me for anything.
I'll always be here for you.
