I liked learning more about hobbits, though Bilbo doesn't quite fit the bill of a "typical hobbit." I liked that it never really explains why Gandalf picked him to join the group of dwarves, just that there is more to him than what one might think. | ||

It lacked the depth and epic-ness of the LotR trilogy, though it is a fun adventure. | ||
